Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 59th Annual Canadian Reinsurance Conference

We had a tremendous line up of speakers including Dr. Joachim Wenning, Member of the Board of Management, responsible for the Global Life Reinsurance Business at Munich Re, as well as Dr. Aubrey de Grey, Chief Science Officer, SENS Research - who had an intriguing take on longevity. Adam Kreek, Olympic Gold Medalist was also our guest speaker. In addition, Dr. Angus Macdonald and Bob Howard shared their genetic testing impact findings.

The 2015 Conference Theme was:

REach for Gold.

This built on the fact that Toronto is the host for the 2015 Pan Am and Parapan summer games. The 2015 CRC provided delegates with an opportunity to listen to how industry stakeholders are leveraging their technical, human and information resources. The goal of the conference was to ensure that every delegate was put in a position to reach for gold within their own organizations and within themselves.

The conference focused on the radically changing global and North American landscape and the actions taken within the insurance and reinsurance business. Convergence, reform, and global risks are leading to a dramatic shift in product design, underwriting and administration.

We engaged champions both from the insurance and athletic world to share how they have been able to reach their aspirations and further delve into how companies are achieving success. Gold standards in technology, underwriting, professionalism and innovation were the cornerstone of this year's conference.
