 Please see details to help answer your questions as it relates to the upcoming 2025 CRC Conference.

 

Where is the conference?

Metro Toronto Convention Centre, South Building, 700 Level

 

How much does the conference cost?*

  • Exclusive Rate: $375.00 +HST (Deadline: March 18, 2025)
  • Early Bird Rate: $400.00 +HST (Deadline: March 27, 2025)
  • Regular Rate: $450.00 +HST

How do I register for the conference? (Step by step)

  • Enter your work email address
    1. PAST REGISTRANT TWO-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION - If you registered for an event in the past using our event platform (Pheedloop), you will be automatically emailed a one-time code. Enter the code and click Verify. Ensure to check your junk folder.
    2. If this is your first time registering for an event with the Pheedloop platform, click Continue and you will go to the next page.
  • Fill out your contact information and click Continue
  • Confirm your type of business and if you will be attending lunch, reception and if you have any dietary restrictions. Click continue.
  • Add the ticket to your cart by selecting the + sign. Please note only single tickets can be purchased online. For group registrations, contact the CRC directly. Click Proceed to checkout.
  • Select your payment type followed by Checkout Now
    1. Credit Card – You will be re-directed to a payment link via Stripe
    2. Other Payment Method – Select this if you’d prefer to mail us a cheque
  • Select THREE breakout sessions by clicking “Add” next to the session name and click Continue
  • Download your schedule on the confirmation page and watch for a confirmation email with your invoice/receipt

 

Why is a One Time Passcode required to register?

This is an additional step that was added by the event platform for security reasons and is required for all existing accounts to register for the conference. It is not possible to by-pass this. New accounts will be able to proceed with registration as normal. 


I registered for last year’s conference and no one-time code was requested during the registration.

If you were not asked a one-time code during registration and you’ve attended one of our conferences in the past, this is likely due to a different email used during the registration. 

 

I am being asked for a one-time code but I am not getting an email.

If you are not receiving the one-time code, try adding the @pheedloop.com domain to your safe sender list and try again. If you still do not receive the one-time code, try a different email or contact us directly for assistance. 

 

What is included in the cost of my registration?

Your registration provides you access to all Guest Speaker sessions, three breakout sessions of your choice, lunch, networking opportunities and a closing cocktail reception. 

 

Who attends?

Individuals who work in the following capacities: Actuarial, Underwriting, Administration, Marketing, Claims and Treaties, as well as, from all levels of the organization from clerical personnel to the CEO.

 

What is the dress code?

Business Casual

 

Is food included with my registration?

A lunch will be offered in addition to two coffee breaks throughout the day. The Cocktail Reception includes a drink ticket and light snacks. 

 

Is there coat check?

Yes, complimentary coat check is provided at the conference.   Coats must be picked up immediately after the conference to avoid fees.

 

Is there a bag drop off?

No. You can leave your bag with your coat, but it is up to your discretion. We are not liable for any lost or stolen bags.

 

Can I register at the event?

No, all registrations must be submitted in advance by the deadline of April 18, 2025. 

 

Do you have a Cancellation Policy?

All 2025 Canadian Reinsurance Conference registrations are non-refundable. Where there are other extenuating circumstances, a conference credit will be issued for all registration fees paid and can be used for the 2026 conference. Conference credits will not be issued if you do not attend the event and have not requested cancellation prior to the event start date. Alternatively, substitutions of a business colleague/co-worker will be accepted and encouraged until April 18, 2025 at 5:00pm EST. The original registrant must submit the replacement's name and contact information in writing to crc@cmgmarketing.com. 

 

Do you offer any sponsorship opportunities?

The CRC has a series of sponsorship opportunities. To become a sponsor for our next conference, please contact a committee member or the event organizers to confirm what is available and any deadlines. Ensure to view our current Sponsors on our page.

 

Is there preferred accommodation I can book?

Accommodation is at each attendee’s discretion and policy.  There are several hotels and accommodations near the Metro Toronto Convention Center. We recommend you Google options available in the area and verify your internal policies.

 

Can I register multiple attendees as a group registration?

No. The online registration form is for individual registrations only. Contact us if a group registration is required. 

 

Are there group discounts available if we have more than one person who wants to register?

No, there are no group discounts.

 

What time does the conference start?

Registration starts at 7:30am.  The main session begins at 8:30am.

 

After completing the registration, will I receive an email confirmation?

Yes, an email confirmation with your invoice will be sent automatically once your registration is processed. Please check your email spam folder.

 

Where can I find information about the event schedule?

How do I change my breakout sessions?

Contact us at crc@cmgmarketing.com to request an update to your breakout sessions. Please note the sessions have a capacity limit, and they will be filled on a first come first serve basis. We cannot guarantee we can update your schedule. 

 

Can I get access to the CRC presentations after the event?

All presentations are internal and exclusive on the conference date, to those who attend the in-person event. Speakers will have the option to publish their presentation through the event app.

 

How do I update the name on my registration and name tag?

Please contact us at crc@cmgmarketing.com as soon as possible if an update is required.

 

How can I get an invoice for the event registration?

An invoice will be sent to you automatically after check out. You can also email us at crc@cmgmarketing.com

 

Where do I pick up my name tag?

Your name tag will be available at the registration desk on the conference day.

Can I get reimbursed by CRC for parking and/or travel costs?

No, the CRC does not reimburse any expenses relating to the conference.
